This project reaches out to the little ones at the European scientist's event
European Researchers' Night is a scientific dissemination project promoted by the European Commission within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions of the Horizon Europe program, which has been taking place simultaneously in almost 400 European cities since 2005. The Night 2024 offers hundreds of free activities in which researchers will bring their work to the citizens in a playful way through experiments, workshops, lectures, etc.
The Agri-Food Institute of Aragon (IA2) has once again participated in the new edition of the European Researchers' Night on September 27th, 2024. Pilar Oñate and María Garrido participated in the “Research Fair” in CaixaForum Zaragoza with the stand LOFT: Local Food Trace, a project on traceability of local food, through an interactive kahoot game about the path of food, for teenagers. The novelty this year was several board games on the importance of local food to raise awareness among children, rewarding them with a tomato keychain, which is the logo of the project.
